Hey @crispius, there's a term on the tip of my tongue that's just not coming to me, and I bet you know what I'm thinking of.

IIRC, you take an old PC or something, you set it up in a certain way, and you put it between your home WiFi and your ISP connection. Increase privacy, strip out ads, that kind of stuff. Or maybe it's done with a Raspberry Pi? What am I thinking of?

@crispius Just for ad blocking, or do you accomplish more with that? With uBlock Origin in my browser, I don't really see ads, so that's only a side effect of what I hope to accomplish. @scuttlebutt

@ZenHeathen @crispius I don’t use it, but if you have a Linux box kicking around it’s one to try. If you already handle scripts and ads with ublock, you may not have any extra benefit. I use AdGuard myself.
