I'm curious fedi, what do you think, will we see a shift from using DisplayPort cables to using DP over USB-C cables?
As in, will graphics card and monitor manufacturers start including USB-C ports for DisplayPort use?

@nightdice a lot of portable monitors already use it, especially because the USB can be used to power them as well. I would not mind having one less brick to plug in.

@sexybenfranklin @nightdice Not just portable. I got a 40 inch screen for my better half quite a few years ago and it powers her laptop plus carries display data.

@sexybenfranklin @nightdice Technically it's Thunderbolt, but there's quite a number of non-apple laptops that use that for power delivery and display port etc data just the same.
