I'm home now.

It seems that after half an hour, he went outside and sat in his truck for an hour. My wife thought we broke him.

I think he was waiting for phone support, because he just came back in like he was on a mission. I sure hope so.

Another failure.

Guy says the government set up the heat pump rebate program without giving a heads-up to manufacturers, so in wanting to get in on it for all those new sales, they scrambled and shipped garbage. He's had physically broken parts shipped to him for repairs. He figures even for all the troubles he's seen, there's still all kinds of time-bombs out there, waiting to break down for stupid reasons.

He says it will be at least Monday, maybe Wednesday before we can even find out what the next step will be.
