I gave my son access to a code generator. He made a version of tic-tac-toe where you can unlock different marks to play with, then a concept of a "bomb" where your turn destroys the surrounding marks and HOLY CRAP PEOPLE HE INVENTED A TOTALLY NEW GAME.

@benbrown This reminds me of nuke chess my roomie and i created circa 1990. Two different coloured d8. Roll first one after your chess move, and if you got a one, roll both d8 and remove any piece sitting at those coordinates.

Variations included putting a marker penny on the spot as unusable radioactive no-go crater, can not land on or pass through it.
