I have fuzzy-and-warm feelings for something that happened in the mid 90s.
We had a customer that was overly needy and bitchy all the time. The warm and fuzzy came when the boss decided to redirect them to our competitor saying that that other software and support structure etc would meet their needs better.
In effect, firing the overly needy whiny bitchy customer who was being an outsized drain on our support and development staff compared to what they were paying annually.
Bonus lol for putting that drain on the competitor.
