@0xabad1dea @penfount I don't know about a year, but my Diplomat Aero's seem to have a good seal on the push caps and the B & M nib ones can take several weeks of sitting idle. The F nib not so much. I've swapped the section/nib units around between bodies on those without any noticible difference.
I live in a semi-arid place so any not perfectly sealed pen is going to dry out I think.
The screw cap Edison Nouveau Premiere fares pretty well too.
